Donna Collins has been Practice Manager at LVO since October 2006. Her previous diverse experiences as a manager at an international oil resource company, a supervisor at a printing and graphics business, and involvement in the fields of customer service and business management has equipped her to handle the challenges of managing the “behind-the-scenes” work at a multi-disciplinary design consultancy.
As Practice Manager, Donna and her Administration Team are responsible for providing the environment, support, and infrastructure our Production Teams need to deliver industry leading products and services. As well as managing our Administration Team, Donna is manager-in-charge of Human Resources, Marketing, IT, Finance, and Quality Management.
Queensland born and bred, Greg is a director of LVO and is both an Architect and Landscape Architect. His extensive experience with residential developments has given him exposure to a wide range of project types from involvement in the commercial and domestic sector, heritage and facilities management.
A Registered Architect in Queensland since 1969, Greg is armed with a Bachelor of Architecture as well as a Graduate Diploma in Landscape Architecture. This double string to his bow allows Greg to provide clients with a well rounded approach to their project.
His extensive experience provides a foundation for Greg to provide expert witness and reporting in the area of Visual Assessment.
Nick has a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture (Hons), a Business Diploma, a Masters of Design (Urban Design) and is currently undertaking his PhD at QUT. Nick also tutors design units at QUT.
Nick was awarded the 2010 Centre for Subtropical Design Travel Bursary (sponsored by mecu) and will use the bursary to research different urban agriculture models with a view to determining which models and methods of integration are most appropriate to a growing subtropical city such as Brisbane.
As Manager of our Visual Assessment and Urban Design Department, Nick has extensive experience in providing assessment and design services to a range of clients (including private developers, Councils, and Government Departments), and for a range of projects (from rural activities to high rise mixed use developments).
Nick is principally involved with undertaking design and visual impact assessments for both development applications and Planning & Environment Court Appeals, on numerous projects in Queensland, and northern NSW, as well as a number of projects across Australia.
As the Manager for Landscape Architecture, Richard understands the importance of delivering client focused outputs.
With over 20 years professional experience with developments in Queensland, interstate and New Zealand, Richard has gained extensive industry experience in both private and public practice. His career has seen him managing multiple disciplines at a national multi-disciplinary firm in the delivery of urban design and environmental projects.
A Registered Landscape Architect armed with a Bachelor of Science and a Graduate Diploma in Landscape Architecture, Richard brings to the table experience in design, documentation and construction supervision for major infrastructure and urban design projects for local and state government authorities.
At LVO he is particularly skilled in delivering design and construct commissions to budget. His special interests include ornamental lighting, wetland design, ESD for residential estate design and visual impact assessment.
Beginning his career in Adelaide over 30 years ago, Wayne offers LVO clients a wealth of experience gained across a gamut of positions and projects.
A director of LVO, Wayne has extensive experience with developments located in Queensland, interstate and overseas. This experience has been gained from his involvement on multi-million dollar developments in the commercial and domestic sector, heritage and facilities management, and retirement villages.
Wayne undertakes a holistic approach to architecture which is based on developing an intimate understanding of a client’s needs, as well as his personal commitment to the creation of meaningful, lasting solutions.
A Registered Architect in 3 states, Wayne brings enthusiasm, insight and a wealth of design experience to the satisfaction of client needs.
